Movin & Groovin to the Tunes

Ms. Bockle: I’ve recently upped my acquisition of electronic entertainment—in the form of an iPod. But that device is not alone—it required special accessories in order to be fully enjoyed. One device was a wireless speaker that I can even take outdoors. I was sorely tempted to get the biggest box on offer, but succumbed to a smaller version since it had big bucks taken off the price.

When I’m doing housework, I wear my iPod and bounce along to the music—having tuneful beats flowing back and forth between my ears has made a world of difference. I dance with sponges, mops and vacuums, while folding clothes, stepping up and down the stairs, dusting and washing down counter tops. When I feel the need to share, I put an earphone up to the ear of nearby cats; so far that gesture has gone unappreciated.

I heartily recommend listening to music to pep up your day; it’s guaranteed to enhance even the most mundane activities. It follows that when added to already great pastimes, or get togethers, it will create an ambiance of brilliance that will make them sparkle.

Happy Holidays for Sure

LaFitterina: I hope everyone has a happy, healthy holiday, filled with lots of good times, good (and good-for-you) food, and some good exercise for sure.

Got Our Cats to Keep Us Warm

Mizzfit: We’ve got to remember to have fun as the build up to the holidays can be a wee bit stressful, and as always– watching cats be themselves is guaranteed amusement. I share with you a cat compilation with Dean Martin crooning in the background, quite an awesome selection of tuneage I must say.
