Useful + Beautiful = Genius

I came up with a list of five things which right now are dazzling me with their Beauty and Usefulness. These were all recently acquired as a result of my house remodeling project.

Six-Burner 36-Inch Stove —  installed in a quartz/granite slab that looks like marble (thanks, God, you’re a genius).

Uber-Useful Built-In Microwave Oven ––  which warms my food and beverages countless times each day. It’s also a convection oven which I’ve not tried but apparently bakes great cakes and pies. I also love my cabinets — made of Alder, stained the perfect color called “Driftwood.”

French Door Refrigerator — I’m slowly warming up to this fridge, so to speak (I wanted a side-by-side fridge, but was informed that they’re passé).

Over-the-Top Sleek and Modern Master Bath — Everyone seems impressed by how this turned out, with marble tile and accents, blue-green granite, dual sinks, dual medicine cabinets with mirrors inside and outside which can be angled for back-of-the-hair viewing, dual showerheads, lots of storage.

Expanded Guest Bath —  Soaking tub/shower with rimless door, 18” porcelain tile with marble accents, granite counter, shiny chrome fixtures.
