Enjoying the Smoothie Ride
Mizzfit: This week I’ve been trying out smoothie recipes and have been loving the results. My blender is happy to be helping in my healthy project, it’s enjoying the Smoothie button workout. I have the excitement of any new project, and am going to milk it for all it’s worth. We’ll see how I fare over the long haul – or will the smoothie joy remain strong, hmmm?
My ingredients are pretty ordinary: banana, soy milk, blueberries, yoghurt and peanut butter. After St. Swartz’s inspiring post, I started using coconut oil and that made a tasty addition. I did a little grocery shopping and have more fruit, almond milk and chia seeds to experiment with. Haven’t been this excited about breakfast in years!
