More Exercise, Less Ice-Cream

LaFitterina: Here’s a progress report regarding my short-term goal (New Year’s Resolution) to lose my holiday weight-gain. I’m talking about those pesky 7 extra pounds that ‘everyone’ seems to gain due to the succession of gluttony brought on by Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s.


After losing a few lbs. in January, February was a month of disappointing relapse. Finally I buckled down, meaning more exercise and less ice cream. The result was a nice surprise of almost-daily weight-loss. I even ended up a few pounds below my target. More recently, it has been up-and-down, but at least I seem to be wavering right around my desired set-point. Hopefully I can spend the rest of Spring, Summer, and early Fall in that same state. Only 6 months until Halloween, and the cycle begins again. Cheers to that!

Something Good for You

Mizzfit: I don’t know about y’all but after a week of reading about everyone’s favorite fruits and vegetables, I’m triply enthused to have a more than healthy weekend. Maybe I’ll schedule in five or so things that are very good for me indeed. May you and yours have a light-filled weekend, with lots of fun shenanigans.
