A New Gym Routine

This week brings a welcomed change, as I started a new job. Along with the new job I am revising my gym routine. I am not only changing my workout time to early mornings, but I am also switching gym locations. My main motivator for this change is so I can avoid the Bay Shore Freeway crawl that seems to frustrate most Silicon Valley workers.


The new gym, a change of scenery, will keep things fresh and new. There are new classes and instructors to try. I am anticipating new music, motivating words of encouragement, and meeting other members to share this love of movement.

So far my mind, body, and spirit have welcomed the change. However, I am still looking forward to my regular routine this Saturday, reconnecting with my old gym near my home. It is nice to balance a new routine with an old and familiar one.
